Work Wear (bottom half)

Okay, work wear.

I’m going to assume we’re talking about an office job, and also assume that you want to look professional.

So let’s start at the shoes, and build up.

So, Meesh (yarnsmith) asked me a while ago for some hints on work wear, and I’m thinking of typing it up properly with examples and reasons WHY

so she can learn how to figure out outfits herself :3

But I was wondering if anybody else had ideas for texty posts I could do?

Right now I feel like this blog isn’t doing much.

So, tomorrow night is my cousin’s engagement party.

Which means that I went shoe shopping today, and ended up with:

Sandler heels “Agatha”, black satin with a five inch heel

and Diana Ferrari Ashacl heels, black and bone leather with bow detail.

So now, which shoes, and I need to hem my dress so it’s above the knee.

Top: Gap, Hoodie: Giordano, Skirt: handmade, tights: Clio
Luna, this is the skirt that is surprisingly short.

Tomorrow I will attempt to squeeze into my skinny jeans that didn’t quite fit me three months ago.

Hopefully this will work, because I’ve lost weight! :)

Skirt: Monsoon, Tights: H&M, Top: The Gap
I went out for dinner to celebrate getting my results last night, and this is what I wore.
I think it looked pretty good! :D

I finally found my winter clothes I left here last year!

I was wearing a minidress before, but my mother told me it was too short, so I changed into this shirt and skirt combo instead.

I was just running errands in town…tax file registration, medicare, all that good stuff…

Next time I wear this, I think I’ll have to layer it with a cardigan or something, it was a little too cold, but the skirt is nice and warm!

pyjama pants: Target, hoodie: grad hoodie.
Pyjama day, because I’m writing and editing, not going out.

So my idea was just to mess around on Polyvore with the idea that every item in an outfit had to be under $50, and it had to be something I’d wear.
What do you think?

Skirt: Witchery, Waistcoat: Indian Art Palace, Scarf: Soukh, Shirt: Marks and Spencers, Tights: H&M, boots: unsure >.>, coat: Vintage WWII flying coat.

As I said, going out to see people means dressing up!

So!

It looked pretty good, in my opinion, and all the walking meant it wasn’t too cold. I liked the waistcoat with the skirt. All in all, thumbs up, IMO.What do you think?
